Mark Anderson, Manager

Leading our team, Mark has over twenty years of experience as a professional Human Resources practitioner. After holding senior roles in both Business Management and Human resources Management over 17 years in Sydney Water, Mark made a transition into Management Consulting where he worked on significant transformation and change projects with Blue Chip companies such as Westpac, Zurich Australia, NRMA and AMP over a number of years. Mark’s consulting work then took him into Executive Recruitment and he has headed up the recruitment functions for large complex organisations such as the CBA, RailCorp and Optus. Mark is proud of his experience in understanding the client brief and delivering successful outcomes with a minimum of fuss in a highly professional manner.
Christian Morris, Senior Consultant

Christian has over 10 years of experience in business management and consultancy with a significant number of organisations. Prior to joining LGNSW Christian had a varied career in law, executive level recruitment, management consulting and business improvement within the corporate and government sectors. With a background in law and government relations, Christian brings an extensive amount of management consulting experience to our team.
Wayne Noakes, Senior Consultant

Wayne has over 25 years’ experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development and Recruitment. He held senior Human Resources roles at NRMA Insurance, QBE, TNT Australia, Integral Energy, Veolia Environmental Services, Dept. of Foreign Affairs & Trade and HR Manager at Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council. Wayne has an extensive back ground in recruiting General Managers, Senior Executives and Technical Specialists across a broad spectrum of sectors within Australia and internationally. He has consulted to organisations on change management, learning and development initiatives, employee relations, leadership development and employment branding. Wayne has a proven track record of delivering results to organisations and enhancing their service delivery and workplace cultures.
LGMS has formed a strong relationship with a number of local government professionals who may have retired or are taking a break from full-time employment, and want to continue to contribute to our industry.
Our Associates work with LGMS and councils to:
- Consult on IP&R framework and documentation
- Undertake organisational / departmental reviews
- Assist councils with executive level recruitment
- Provide mentoring service to our younger general managers as required.
